Terms & Conditions

These terms cover your use of this website and your entry to events and competitions organised by Evolve Eight Ball. By using the site or entering an event you agree to them.

1. Who We Are

Evolve Eight Ball is a trading name of DJSJ Sports Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17243003, with its registered office at 1 Blissmore Lane, Weyhill, Andover, Hampshire, SP11 0SX. References to "we", "us" and "our" in these terms mean DJSJ Sports Limited.

2. Use of This Website

  1. The content of this website is provided for general information about our events and competitions.
  2. We take care to keep the site accurate and up to date, but event details can change. The fixtures, draws and results published on evolve8ball.com take precedence over anything shown here.
  3. The Evolve Eight Ball name and logo belong to DJSJ Sports Limited and may not be used without our written permission.

3. Event & Competition Entry

  1. Entry to Evolve events is subject to the format, eligibility rules and player class restrictions published for each event.
  2. Matches are played to the blackball or international rule set stated in the event details.
  3. We may refuse or cancel an entry where a player does not meet the eligibility rules for an event.
  4. Player classes are assigned and reviewed by the organisers, and class decisions are final.

4. Entry Fees

  1. Entry fees, where charged, are stated in the event details and payable before play.
  2. Where an event is cancelled by us, entry fees are returned in full.
  3. Where a player withdraws after the draw is published, the entry fee is not refundable unless the event details say otherwise.

5. Player Conduct

  1. We are committed to inclusivity and integrity. Players are expected to treat opponents, officials, venue staff and spectators with respect.
  2. Unsporting conduct, abuse or behaviour likely to bring the game into disrepute may lead to removal from an event or exclusion from future events.
  3. Players must comply with the house rules of the venue hosting an event.

6. Results & Disputes

  1. Results are recorded on our league platform and, once confirmed, form the official record of an event.
  2. Any dispute about a result or ruling should be raised with the event organiser on the day. The organiser's decision is final.

7. Photography & Media

  1. Photographs and video may be taken at our events for use on our website, league platform and social channels.
  2. If you would prefer not to appear, tell the event organiser on the day and we will do our best to accommodate that.

8. Liability

  1. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that cannot be limited by law.
  2. Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property at events, or for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to events entered after it is published.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
