About Us

Evolve Eight Ball is built by the community, for the community. We organise pool events ranging from competitive series and money matches to charity fixtures and open competitions, with a commitment to inclusivity, integrity and the love of the game.

Our home is Andover, Hampshire, and our events run in venues across the town and the surrounding area. Whether you are a seasoned county player or picking up a cue for the first time in years, there is a place for you at an Evolve table. We grade competitions by player class so that every event is worth winning and every player has a route to develop.

Leadership

Evolve Eight Ball is led by Managing Director Richard Clarke, who oversees the running of every league, series and open on the Evolve calendar. The wider Evolve community of players, venues and volunteers is what keeps the balls rolling week after week.

How We Play

Evolve competitions are played to blackball and international rule sets, with the format stated in each event's details. Fixtures, results, league tables, rankings and live scoring are managed on our league platform at evolve8ball.com, so results are on the board before the chalk dust settles.

Class A

Experienced competitive players, typically high level county standard.

Class B

Strong league players competing regularly at county and competition level.

Class C

Players at the lower end of the County spectrum and high local league standard.

Class D

Improving players building match experience, as well as new and social players.
